History

For the educational development of the backward society in Vazhichal and suburban area, Catholic Educational and Charitable Society which is possessed by Latin Catholic Minority community of Neyyattinkara Diocese started the college in 2005. From the very beginning of the function of the college, it could attain a top most position in Teacher Education scenario in Kerala. From different parts of the state and outside students are seeking admission and attaining training with good academic success. The College, within the short period attained a lot of distinctions and rank. The process is still continuing.

Vision Statement

The management has a vision to create a well trained teacher community who are having a sense of dedication for creating a cultured and developed society. Also we aim to nurture a Teacher community who are capable to contribute much and more to the developing technological world.

Mission and Oblectives

Generating an ideal Teacher community who can nurish a cultural society which can cherish the values of our nation and its heredity. We assume that the job of a teacher is having somewhat a holistic duty than a mere work. So we always try to keep up the purity and the validity of teaching and training.

OBJECTIVES

Contribute the utmost developed trends of education to the Teacher Trainees who are the intake of this institution.
Create a well disciplined teacher community.
Equip the intakes to cope with the changing curriculum and educational objectives in the field.
After the completion of the Teacher education our trainees must have a sense of dedication and sacrifice to serve the society for attaining the educational objectives of the nation which give importance for the national development.

Significant Achievements if any

From the starting time the college has been attaining cent percent success in examinations. The last batch, our students got University Rank in the final examination. Our students have been harvesting several prizes for state level competitions.

Contributions in the field of Education

A lot of seminars and debates were conducted in the college. Our staff have been participating in the inter University and intra University level educational programmes. They have been also participating for the curriculum development and text book preparation of the state. Every morning the class starts with the ‘Thought for the day’ which enables the students to participate and contribute in discussions and public functions.

The staff of the college is recognized by the Govt. and included in the educational development committee in the state.

Alumini Association is existing and which has been assembling in each year and conducting it’s programmes.

The institution could demark its possession within a short period in the educational map of the state and University. For creating social conscientisation the College has been participating in all developmental activities like Social Forestry, Blood donation etc.
